📌On Wednesday, 2nd July 2025, the students of Grade 8B conducted the General Assembly centered around the theme of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
📌The assembly aimed to promote respect, empathy, and awareness regarding the treatment of the elderly in our homes and society.
📌The program began with the recitation of Adhkar, followed by a Hadith and the Thought of the Day, setting a meaningful tone for the rest of the session.
📌Students then presented national, international, and sports news, summarizing current events and engaging their peers with valuable information.
📌A pledge was taken by all students, committing to positive actions, respectful behavior, and unity within the community.
📌A powerful and heartfelt speech was delivered by a student from Grade 8, stressing the importance of valuing and protecting the elderly. The message encouraged everyone to appreciate the wisdom and contributions of our elders.
📌A thought-provoking skit was performed, effectively portraying the impact of neglect and ignorance toward the elderly. The performance also highlighted how small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in their lives.
📌The assembly concluded with a pledge to respect and care for the elderly, reinforcing the values of humanity, empathy, and compassion.
📌Finally, the session ended with a thoughtful address by the Coordinator, appreciating the students’ efforts and emphasizing the importance of the message conveyed.
