AssalamuAlaikum WaRahmuthullahi Wabarakathuhu

At BIS, we take the responsibility of nurturing our children’s dreams seriously and ensure they enjoy their academic journey as the most glorious years are spent. Barakah International School is more than just a school, working closely and collaboratively with our parents’ community, we provide holistic education to our students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to go out into the practical world with enthusiasm and confidence, balancing well with Islamic etiquette.

Twenty First Century skills are the skills/abilities required for life beyond the classroom to deal with real-life situations. The curriculum of KG section is Montessori oriented with a blend ofhands on exploration and interactive learning. There is paradigm shift of focus in the learning domains from specific subjects and content such as English, Math and EVS to specific skills such as Personal Social, Emotional, Physical, Literary, Numeracy, Creative and Enquiry skills. The widely acclaimed Xseed curriculum based on the multiple intelligence theory is being implemented to empower students of Grades 1-5. From Grade 6 onwards, CBSE curriculum is followed with Smart technology. The school is committed to helping students become responsible for their own actions. Being an International school, we offer a rich Arabic, Qur’anic, and Islamic studies programs. We also have an entire department dedicated solely for memorizing the Holy Quran with proper tajweed and sustaining methods. Barakah has realized the challenges to make our 21st century learner equipped with the necessary skills to make the students to face the digital world.

The main focus of our Barakah International School is on the emphasis of the 4Cs skills:

  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Skills
  • Creativity & Innovation
  • Communication
  • Collaboration

These skills prepare a child to look into a problem with a broader perspective that take them from local to national and international level. Through these skills, a child learns to adapt to different cultures and situations, to initiate her/himself even in diversity and tries to imbibe something productive and meaningful for her/his life from each situation.

I believe that a school must create an environment conducive to a child’s Holistic Development in which they are free to think, create and experience positivity, grow while they develop the power of reasoning rather than rote learning, grow with empathy and not sympathy towards others, grow to contribute positively towards the greater good of the world and I am here to facilitate such a creation in this school.

I am looking forward to your continued support.
Sincerely on behalf of Barakah International School & College
