World Environment Day

World Environment Day Celebration
Date: 06/05/2025
Venue: Barakah International School (Classes 3–8)
Theme: Models of Sustainable Alternatives to Plastics

On the occasion of World Environment Day, students of Classes 3–5 actively participated in creating innovative models showcasing eco-friendly alternatives to plastic—including reusable bags, biodegradable containers, bamboo cutlery, and cloth packaging.

Their creativity reflected a strong commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.

Meanwhile, students of Classes 6–8 took part in a Slogan Campaign focused on environmental awareness and non-plastic alternatives. Their meaningful and thought-provoking slogans were displayed around the campus to keep the message alive beyond the event.

These activities not only educated students about the harmful effects of plastics but also encouraged them to think critically and act responsibly.

A huge shoutout to our young changemakers for making the event a resounding success! Let’s continue to work towards a greener, cleaner future.
