Students of Barakah International School Visit Kankanady Police Station

In an initiative to promote awareness about law, safety, and responsible citizenship, Barakah International School organized an educational visit to Kankanady Police Station for its students.
During the visit, police officials, including Inspector T.D. Nagaraj, warmly interacted with the students and provided valuable guidance on the responsible use of mobile phones and digital technology. They highlighted the increasing risks of cybercrime and informed students about important emergency helpline numbers, including 1930 for reporting online financial fraud and 112 for emergency assistance.
The officers also demonstrated various weapons, such as revolvers and rifles, and patiently clarified the students’ questions regarding their use and safety measures. The interactive session helped students gain practical insight into police operations and responsibilities.
Addressing the gathering, Inspector Nagaraj advised students to follow rules, maintain discipline, and uphold good character alongside academic excellence. He emphasized that awareness, responsibility, and moral values are essential qualities of good citizens.
The visit proved to be both informative and inspiring, offering students a deeper understanding of the crucial role played by the police in maintaining law and order, and reinforcing the importance of safety, discipline, and social responsibility.
