Independence Day Celebration at Barakah International School&College

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Barakah International School on August 15, 2024. The program began at 8:50 am with the hoisting of the national flag by our Chief Guest Mr. Mohammad Yaseen, President Adyar Panchayath.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was followed by a march past by the school’s scout and guide team, who showcased their discipline and coordination. The students then gathered in the school auditorium for a cultural program, which included patriotic songs, mime show and skits.
Our Principal delivered a speech highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The students were also addressed by our Chief Guest who shared inspiring words about the importance of unity and integrity.
The program concluded with a quiz competition related to Independence Day, which saw enthusiastic participation from the students. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates.
The Independence Day celebration was a grand success, with students, teachers, and staff coming together to pay tribute to our nation’s freedom fighters. The program was a reminder of the importance of patriotism, unity, and integrity.
