Event: Field Visit to Police Station at Bantwal, Mangalore

✳️Barakah International School and College conducted a field visit to the Police Station at B.C. Road Bantwal, Mangalore on Friday, 8th November 2024, for the students of Grade 5A and 5B as part of our social studies curriculum.
✳️The objective of this visit was to learn about the role of police in maintaining law and order, understand their daily responsibilities, and appreciate their contributions to our community.
✳️During the visit, students toured the different sections of the police station, including the reception area, inquiry desk, and cells. They also learned about the various uniforms, badges, and equipment used by police officers.
✳️Additionally, students observed the communication systems, including radios and computers, used for emergency responses. They actively engaged with police officers, asking various questions about their daily duties, training, and experiences.
✳️ This is visit greatly benefitted the students, helping them understand the importance of respecting and cooperating with police officers, especially in difficult situations. They also learned how they can contribute to safety by being responsible citizens.
✳️Overall, the visit to the police station was informative, engaging, and enlightening.
