On 9/11/2024 for the students of grade 3 and 4.
📌students had the exciting opportunity to visit Deccan Plastic, a leading manufacturer in the plastic industry.
📌This trip aimed to enhance students’ understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and the importance of sustainability in production.
📌This experiential learning aims at learning about the plastic manufacturing process.
📌To understand the different types of plastics and their uses.
📌To explore the importance of recycling and sustainability in the plastic industry.
📌Upon arrival, students were greeted by the staff of Deccan Plastic, who provided an overview of the company and its operations.
📌Students were taken on a guided tour of the manufacturing facility. They observed various stages of production, from raw material processing to packaging.
📌The staff explained the machinery used in the production process, including injection molding and extrusion.
📌After the tour, an interactive session allowed for the students to ask questions and engage with the staff.
