Farm Day Report – Kindergarten

On Farm Day, our Foundation students (KG & Grade 1) of Barakah International School experienced a delightful and educational day, immersing themselves in the world of farming. The event aimed to teach children about farm life, animals, crops, and the importance of agriculture in our daily life.
Children were dressed up in various farm costumes.Some came dressed up as landlords, farmers,farm animals and birds etc..Activities like milking the cow , ploughing the field and removing the wool from the sheep was done by the children.
They learned about the equipment farmers use to plant and harvest crops.
They were introduced to various farm tools and equipment, fostering awareness of the work involved in farming.
Overall, Farm Day was a success, providing an enriching experience that connected classroom learning to the outside world. The children left with greater knowledge, new vocabulary, and respect for the hard work that goes into farming.
