In the world of technology and social media, digitalization has given wings to communication, nevertheless the role of postal services cannot be ignored. BIS students had the opportunity to understand the services offered by our India Post.
An educational trip to the post office was organised for the students of K3 & Grade 1on 16th August 2023 to enhance their learning experience on the ongoing EVS topic ‘People who help us’.
The visit to the post office gave students a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of the post master and post man.
The postman explained to the students how letters are collected and delivered to their destinations. The students were excited to see letters being stamped and sorted. The field trip was an enjoyable and informative experience for the students as most of them were seeing the post office for the first time.
