Density Jar Activity (Summer Camp)
Event : Density jar experiment
Date : 10/04/19
Venue : Barakah International School
????Kids are curious and always looking to explore, discover, check out, and experiment to find out Why things do?, What they do?, How they change? And so on.
????It is very important for the students to explore and engage in enquiry based learning. Giving this due importance, our junior scientists performed Density jar experiment as an activity in summer camp 2018-19 organised by Barakah International School on 10/04/19.
????Students understood the importance of the topic density, as density is a fundamental concept in physics, which explains why boats float and rocks sink.
????Three different layers of sugar solution were created in a jar where the denser and bottom most layer being red colour, middle green layer and at the top most yellow layer.
????It was hands- on experience for them which also helped them to research, create and collaborate.
????Such opportunities accelerate their confidence level. It was delightful sight to see many students having a scientific bent of mind.
